OE uses 100% of your money specifically towards projects that help prevent children from becoming orphans.We want to address the root causes and they are:
Extreme Poverty
Extreme poverty is a reality that leaves parents and children hopeless. So whether it’s micro-lending, teaching people how to farm, or providing clean water we work to provide communities and families financial means to care for children. The primary reason children are sold into slavery is for money. We can provide for these families.
Treatable Diseases
Mothers and fathers are dying for diseases that are easily treatable diseases like malaria and tuberculosis. From providing HIV/AIDS antiretroviral drugs to building clean water wells, we help families attain and sustain their basic health needs to continue caring for children. Parents are dying from treatable diseases and leaving children behind. We need to strengthen these families physically.
Social Reconciliation
We need to free orphans from the injustices of the world such as human trafficking, child labor, and the use of children soldiers and unite them back into their families or adoptive families. We need to protect these children.
